I have noticed that a lot of line breaks (spaces) were added under my Footer on my Homepage.
This is only affecting my Homepage.My staging Site: http://wpcharbelnemnomblog.northeurope.cloudapp.azure.com/
P.S. WP Show Posts Pro is disabled at the moment.
Please help.

ModeratorHi,
Can you try disabling all plugins except WP Show Posts and GP Premium to see if it still occurs?
Your site seems to have errors on its console. Perhaps this issue is related w/ that.
Let us know.

ParticipantHello @Elvin,
Once I disable WP Show Posts PRO, the homepage is fixed (line spaces below the footer are gone). In other words, the homepage stops at the footer and does not continue.
I have enabled
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
to debug and check to see if I got errors.The errors that you are seeing in the console are related to Google AdSense Ads, because this site is still in staging. As soon as I switch it to the appropriate domain, those errors will disappear.
In between, I just have disabled the plugin that display Google Ads on the site, the errors that you are referring to in the console are gone, however, the homepage does NOT stop at the footer and it continues. The issue is only happening for the homepage, so I am 100% sure the issue is related to WP Show Posts PRO Plugin.One more thing, because, I have enabled
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
, I am seeing the following errors when I access the Widgets section in wp-admin dashboard.Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$post_status in /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1433 Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$post_status in /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1433 Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$post_status in /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1433 Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$post_status in /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1433 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-admin/includes/misc.php:1433) in /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 9
I have seen online a similar error for the Widgets, however, the person is using another Theme: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/problem-with-setting-footer/
Please help on solving this issue.
Many Thanks @Elvin!

ModeratorPlease note that this issue is resolved.
We can close this case.Thank you for notifying us.
I was unable to replicate the issue with a fresh GeneratePress & WPSP install.
That said, It may be a plugin conflict issue or a server issue (permission issue) where some of WordPress files are not being found which returns errors.
If you don’t mind, can you share the culprit why the issue was occurring?
Thanks again. 🙂

ParticipantThank you @Elvin,
Sorry I did not understand well about the culprit that you need. Could you please clarify?
As you noted, this could be a plugin conflict and not a server issue. This is a fresh installation from Bitnami LAMP stack.
Thanks!

Ah, that narrows it down to a corrupted WordPress installation or issues with the development environment.
It’s fine now. Thank you. 🙂
