Bought WPSP Pro, love the concept. I’ve been testing the 1.3 beta version too; all good. And I also saw you have future plans for a “WPSP block”, would love to know more about what that might be.

Two suggestions from what I’ve seen so far:

    – I’d love to have two new cards that function like Row and Polaroid, but instead the content stays exclusively on the right side of the image (or selectable right/left). To me, having the content positions flip right/left on two posts that sit right next to each other is “cluttered”.

Also design-wise, I’d love to be able to designate the position of metas like Category, Date, etc to be above all of the content/image/title, instead of only below specific items. This would be especially useful if you have a multi-category “Latest News” section, so that the post’s Category can be shown small above the image or headline.

Keep up the good work! If WPSP continues to provide flexibility for design within a minimized, fast-loading framework, you’ll be giving us the tools needed to replicate any theme — without all of the clutter that many theme designers always seem toss in to slow everything up…

Interested in learning more about WPSP Block too. Is it the same thing as Generate Blocks?

    Hi there,

We’re still in the planning phase, but as of right now we’re hoping to build a Query block with the same sort of options that you see in GenerateBlocks. This would link the two together and offer way more options than the current shortcode version 🙂

Excellent! I assume you will email all of the current users when this new version becomes available. Thanks Tom.
