I’d like to be able to have a custom blog page using WP Show Posts Pro, but have a filter bar at the top of the page so that posts can be filtered by category. How could I do that?

Currently, WP Show Posts and WPSP Pro doesn’t have this “filter” functionality.
To implement this feature, you may want to consider using a plugin that does this specifically.
Alternatively, with advanced scripting knowledge, you should be able to to something similar with Filterizr library.
This would be a nice feature to have – trust Tom would execute this the best way possible.

Tom has yet to mention any ETA for this, unfortunately.
But the team just grew so there are more heads to tackle things.
