    Hello!

I’m curious if it’s possible to alter image sizes based on device/resolution?

I have a masonry grid of 4 columns which works well with the WordPress medium image size. However when the grid stacks on mobile, I’d prefer to display the “large” image, especially on the later iPhones with their higher native resolution.

I’m somewhat comfortable with css, but I expect I’ll need additional shortcode or php to help with this query?

Additionally, it would be great to specify the “featured post” as “large” too.

    Many thanks,
    Ty.

    Hi there,

As of right now it’s not possible, unfortunately.

The rule of thumb is to add an image at the largest width needed by default. Then you can resize it (if needed) down when needed, and it will display at its largest width when needed.

Let me know if you need more info 🙂
