I’m using a plugin that controls what assets are loaded on a page. It shows that WP Show Posts requires jquery to work. Is it really so?

    Hi there,

Yes, that’s correct. It needs a jQuery library for some of its scripts like the ajax pagination, the color picker on the backend, the carousel, and the lightbox functionality.

So, if the ajax pagination, carousel and lightbox are not used, may I switch off jQuery in frontend?

And masonry as well. I forgot to mention that.

And yeah, if you’re not using any of these, then there shouldn’t be any problem.
