ParticipantHi!
I am using WPSP Pro, but somehow I can’t get the horizontal and vertical columns gutter equal. Is there a way to achieve this? I have tried many options (bigger, smaller, px, em…) but nothing seems to work. Moreover, the gutters seems to change with the screen size. I have posted a screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/o0zt63, gutter size 2px, padding 2 px.Hope you can help me out.
Thank you!

KeymasterHi there,
As a guess, this is happening because masonry is calculating the distance between items. Sometimes, those calculations aren’t perfect depending on the container size. Any chance you can link us to the site?

ParticipantGrateful if you can take a look. I have send it before… never ending project 🙂 Here it is: https://test.alfabetprodukties.nl/

KeymasterYea, I think this is due to the container width, the math just isn’t able to result in perfect spacing. If you adjust the size of the container by a couple pixels (either way), you might find the sweet spot.

ParticipantI have tried various container widths, and finally changed it quite a bit to 1080 px, with gutter size 2px and padding 1px. It seems to look quite OK now… How does it look to you?
BTW are there any other settings that might influence the gutters? Thanks again for the help.

ParticipantI just realized I am using “full-width” for the homepage. I changed it now to 2000 px, and everything stayed quite the same… I think it’s just something we need to accept? 🙂
Just one more question… Is there any way I can add a background to the title that appears on mouse-over, and change the title font size? Or should I make a new topic?
Thanks again!June 17, 2019 at 4:21 pm #9899Tom
KeymasterHmm, the gaps definitely shouldn’t be that noticeable. Did it make a difference when you had control over the width?
As for the text, you can do this to add a background color:
#wpsp-3458 .wp-show-posts-image:hover + .wp-show-posts-entry-header { background: #fff; }
The font size can be adjusted inside the settings using the title font size option.

ParticipantHi,
I changed the gutter size to 0.1em and the padding to 0.15em, and that seems to work better, at least on my 15″ laptop screen… I used the max size for the container, it doesn’t seem to change when I change the container size.
The hover and font size are working fine now! Thanks.
By the way, I like the card options of the 1.0 version. When will be the official release, or do you think I can use it already? Thanks,

KeymasterYou can definitely use it already. We have a couple small things to fix and will be releasing the stable version ASAP.
