Hi there,
Is there anyway to have the excerpt length for pages done by characters instead of words? I’d really like to get everything to line up nicely even if cuts part of a word off. Pages with shorter words are showing shorter. Also, anyway to do something similar with the article titles? When I do it with posts, I just set the excerpt manually to fix but that does not work with pages.

Titles are harder – I find it easier to give them a max-width with CSS instead.
