I have been using WPSP for a while now and it is a great plugin and I commend Tom for the work he has done on this and GP.
However, there a couple of things that are bugging me.
    1. It would be really great if we had global settings for WPSP. For instance I would prefer it if we could set the colours for buttons and other settings as a global template, this way you would not have to set this up every time you create a new show posts item.
Would also be great to have not only a global template, but also the ability to have custom individual setting like it is at present.

    2. Also I mentioned this before in another thread. But would also be nice if we could have the share buttons and button customisation options from WPSP added to the customiser of GP for design consistency between the two.

I really would really like to use WPSP and GP for all my projects and if they were more closely synced it would be amazing.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for the suggestions!

I’ll take a look at #1 to see if there’s a way. You should be able to filter into the defaults to set them to whatever you like using a function.

As for #2, I don’t really believe that share buttons belong in themes – they’re more plugin functionality. It’s something I might add to my Lightweight Social Icons plugin, or create a new free plugin for.

Read more buttons is something I wouldn’t mind adding to GP 🙂

Hi Tom, with regards to point 1 above, I was just using the plugin and thinking it’d be great if I had the ability to copy a previous list as I only had one setting I wanted to change, which is sort of similar to having a global settings option

Copying lists is possible with a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-duplicator/
