Not sure if this plugin works for custom post types, but if it does then it will do exactly this: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/

    Let me know 🙂

    Hi Tom,

Just to confirm that indeed the Duplicate Post plugin works with WPSP, shows the Posts List as an option in the Permissions tab > Enable for these post types.

I needed this functionality on a site I am rebuilding with WPSP/Pro and have 6 lists that all have the same settings.

Might be an idea for an update at some point 🙂

    Cheers!

If all the settings are the same, why the need to duplicate them? Unless they’re all slightly different?

I haven’t personally tested it, but will tomorrow – if the plugin says it works with any post type, it’ll work with WPSP.

I should have been more specific … the “settings” are all the same, but there are 6 separate categories 🙂

The same as on the Sniffle Valve Tutorial page … 8 WPSP lists with all the same settings, but 8 groups of pages.

Just gave this plugin a shot and it worked great: https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-duplicator/

The other plugin seems to only do the post and page post types.

Actually, the other one, Duplicate Posts, does do Post Lists 🙂
