Why would the exact same short code work differently on two different pages?

This page is correct – https://www.lsssc.org/homewithblog/

This page is pulling in different posts – https://www.lsssc.org/homewithblog/

I’m using the exact same HTML and short code on both pages. Same post list, same everything. I’ve flushed cache and cleared browser history/cache.

Sorry – the link for the page that is not pulling in correctly but has identical short code is https://www.lsssc.org/

    Hi David,

Can you send us temporary backend access to check the issue?

You can send a mail through our contact page here – https://wpshowposts.com/contact/

The issue seems isolated to the homepage only as the carousel works properly on a test page.

    Let’s debug further.

Can you try disabling ALL plugins except WPSP and WPSP Pro to see if a plugin is messing in conflict with the it?

If the issue still occurs, can you try deactivating the child theme and see if that’s where the conflict is?

Lastly, if the issue still occurs, can you try temporarily changing to a default WordPress theme and see if anything changes?

I don’t want to disrupt our live site so I pushed our site to staging @ https://lssscstaging.wpengine.com/ if you want to login there and see what you see. I can’t afford to have our live site down for even a few minutes.

    Thanks for putting it up.

I’ve done test and found that you have a plugin called “WordPress Hide Posts” that removes posts on post loops on the home page.

It’s messing w/ the query done by WPSP for the homepage only. 🙂
