    Screencast demonstrating the issue found

There appears to be an issue with the Reusable Gutenberg Blocks widget.

The issue is trigged when a reusable blocks widget is on the same page as wp show post and the content option is checked. When unchecked everything appears normal.

You can see this on a site I just relaunched using GPP https://mimifosterbooks.com/blog/ scroll to the footer and look at the first widget on the left.

I’ve covered all this in the screencast. If you find that this isn’t a WPSP issue please let me know so I can alert the other plugin author.

Love this plugin and version 1

    Hey Dave,

Thanks for the heads up! I wonder if that plugin is making use the the_content() function or filter as well and causing a conflict.

I’ll do some digging and will let you know 🙂

Hey Dave – sorry for not getting back to you sooner on this.

Does this happen with WPSP Pro deactivated? I wonder if the re-usable block is trying to output content from the post list?

The re-usable block is in the footer and appears on all pages correctly with the exception of the blog page using wp show posts.

I deactivated the pro beta and it still does the same thing. Whatever the issue it seems to be conflicting with WP Show Posts even without Pro active.

I have a feeling it’s because that plugin is using the post_content filter. Does it not happen on a regular blog archive?

No it doesn’t. I didn’t even have a regular blog page setup. I do now, you can see it at https://mimifosterbooks.com/blog-test/
