Can someone please give me the shortcode to display a specific category? I know the following is for displaying tags:

[wp_show_posts id=”76440″ settings=”taxonomy=post_tag&tax_term=humanities”]

But I need it for displaying a Category.

PS. Where can I find the documentation for shortcodes?
