    Hello,

    I have a main category with several sub categories. I only want to show posts from the main category but at the moment when I select this it also seems to show posts from all the related sub categories, is this correct behaviour or am I doing something wrong?

    Hi Paul,

    Are those posts only assigned to the sub-categories, or are they also assigned to the parent categories?

    It displays posts from all sub categories when only main category is selected. Note I am using verson 1.0-beta2

    Hey Paul,

    I just dug into this a bit, and it looks like WordPress does this by default, as the post is technically a part of that category.

    category__not_in might be worth looking at, but you’d need to use PHP to display the list.
