When I select that the excerpt should be delivered as part of a card, in reality the complete HTML code of the post is delivered. This looks messy when there are images/tables at the top of the post.
Is there a way to deliver the “real” excerpt that is entered in the backend?
Hi Sebastian,
There’s a dropdown option on WPSP list settings > Content Tab where it lets you pick between “None”, “Full content” and “Excerpt”.
If you pick excerpt, WPSP will first, check if the post has a manual excerpt. It the post has one, it gets it.
If the post has NO manual excerpt added to it, WPSP will try to create one but this isn’t 100% reliable. It will depend on how simple the content it.
