I love the AP Show Posts plugin although I’ve run into one issue in that the author id attribute is not always getting applied.

I’m sure the author id is correct, they were double checked in the wop_users table: https://www.screencast.com/t/21dihU3F7o and in the post type settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/xIbuotjm

Here is the settings for every option:
    09.28.2017-11.23.43
    09.28.2017-11.23.57
    09.28.2017-11.24.07
    09.28.2017-11.24.15
    09.28.2017-11.24.26
    09.28.2017-11.24.39

Is there a step I’m missing?

(FWIW, I’m continuing to have this issue even with the Pro upgrade. The site is on WPEngine and I’ve also made sure to clear caches, reset write permissions, etc.).

    Hey Drew,

No solution yet, but I think I see the issue.

Will get back to you tomorrow 🙂

    Found the solution.

The next versions of WPSP are pretty significant updates, so I need to test them more with each other before releasing them.

For now, I can tell you what to look for and how to fix it if that works?

    Sure, that would be terrific.

And for whatever reason, I have not been receiving the email notifications for responses here but I do get the ones from the generatepress forum just fine. I’ve checked spam and trash on both the local email client and email server level and nothing seems to be arriving.

Do you have a any sort of fixes subject or email server id I can use to add to my whitelist?

I’ll try adding a filter to whitelist the messages (as your latest reply didn’t make it through either).

I’ll also follow up at that other thread if there are any additional questions, many thanks!
