Yes, very strange.
But I seem to have solved it. It was related to bad custom date format in WP. So not WPSP related!

Yes, I showed the HTML that is rendered out to show that it’s not a CSS issue. Nothing gets output between the tags.

Is there a way to share the url here without it being permanent. Either by editing the post or in a private form?
