That should have worked, but didn’t, I think because the button is styled with other CSS. I should have mentioned that, sorry. I didn’t think about it until now.

I want the date to be first, then the author. I said in my original post that I wanted author “beneath”, but I think one line is fine.

Yes, I have an offset of 1. This is what I bought WP Show Posts Pro for. I want to have the most recent post on the homepage, and the rest of the posts, minus the most recent, on the blog page (Writing).
Why have offsets if you can’t use them?
