Just waving my hand as someone else who came to the forums looking for an overlay option for post titles as well. 🙂

This is super helpful. The Post Duplicator does the trick. I use another plugin (Formidable Forms) pretty heavily that has the duplication feature baked in, which is where that idea came from.
I’ll keep the filter in mind as well, though I typically avoid editing plugin files that’ll be overwritten on updates.
